Old world charm & modern flair
Amsterdam, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, is the capital city of the Netherlands. Amsterdam has a rich history, best known for the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its large and untouched historic center makes it a unique city to visit. Amsterdam is dominated by water with winding canals throughout the city.
Amsterdam’s Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, renowned works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Amsterdam is a traditional European city with modern flair, offering the best amenities of a European city: food, fashion, culture, architecture and design.
